How Big Dumpz Got Started
In the fall of 2022, a St. Petersburg native watched local contractors burn hours and money hauling their own debris. Renting dumpsters meant waiting days for delivery. City pickup had size limits and scheduling headaches. And most hauling companies charged prices that small operators could not afford.
The idea behind Big Dumpz was simple: give tradesmen, homeowners, and property managers a faster, cheaper way to get rid of waste. No middlemen. No corporate overhead. Just a local team with trailers, trucks, and the know-how to handle cleanup projects across southern Pinellas.
What started as one truck and a dump trailer has grown into a local trailer rental operation covering all of Pinellas County. We added debris hauling, junk removal, trash removal, and FDEP-registered tire hauling because our customers kept asking for more. Every service we offer exists because a real customer needed it.
